REVEAL Third Advisory Board Meeting

On 27 May 2025, the REVEAL project hosted its third Advisory Board meeting online. The aim was to inform board members about the project’s progress and gather their expert insights to help shape the next phase of development. The REVEAL Advisory Board comprises representatives from the aluminium industry and energy-intensive sectors, ensuring that research remains closely aligned with real-world needs and market expectations.

The agenda included updates on the status of metal fuel concepts, system-level analysis, life cycle assessment, and dissemination efforts. Partners presented developments across the entire REVEAL concept, encompassing energy storage and release processes, environmental impact evaluation, and communication strategy. The session concluded with an open discussion that allowed AB members to share feedback and recommendations based on their sector-specific expertise.

This exchange plays a vital role in keeping the project focused, practical, and impactful. The input from the Advisory Board continues to strengthen REVEAL’s direction, ensuring the solutions being developed have a clear path to uptake and relevance in Europe’s clean energy transition.
