TMS 2026
The REVEAL project was represented at the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society Conference 2026 (TMS2026), held from 15–19 March 2026 in San Diego, California, USA. The event brought together over 2 000 experts from across the global minerals, metals, and materials community, including researchers, engineers, industry leaders, and investors, for a comprehensive exchange of knowledge and innovation.
At this internationally recognised conference, Samuel Senanu (SINTEF) presented REVEAL’s latest laboratory-scale research, focusing on validating the carbon-free nature of aluminium-based energy systems developed within the project. His contribution highlighted the importance of experimental verification in demonstrating the feasibility of aluminium as a sustainable energy carrier.
The presentation showcased results from controlled laboratory studies that support REVEAL’s ambition to enable climate-neutral energy storage and conversion technologies. By addressing key technical challenges and providing measurable evidence, the work contributes to strengthening confidence in aluminium-based solutions among both scientific and industrial stakeholders.
Participation in TMS2026 provided a valuable opportunity to engage with the wider international materials community, exchange insights, and position REVEAL within ongoing global discussions on sustainable materials and energy systems.
The conference also offered a platform to disseminate REVEAL’s findings more broadly, including through the presentation of related publications and supporting materials. REVEAL continues to actively contribute to high-level international events, reinforcing its role in advancing innovative, carbon-neutral energy storage technologies.
