PRé Sustainability Explains LCA

Understanding the environmental impact of new technologies is essential for building a truly sustainable energy future. In a newly released video, REVEAL consortium partner PRé Sustainability explains how Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) supports this goal within the REVEAL project.

LCA is a methodology used to evaluate the environmental footprint of a product or technology across its entire life cycle, from raw material extraction and production to use and end-of-life treatment. Within REVEAL, LCA plays a key role in assessing the sustainability performance of the project’s innovative aluminium-based energy storage concept.

The video provides a concise and accessible introduction to how PRé Sustainability contributes to the project by helping quantify environmental impacts and identify opportunities for improving sustainability throughout the value chain.
